I. Summary
The Product Manager will be responsible for understanding and analyzing COMPANY, partner, and competitor products in order to recommend changes, assist in sales support, and maintain product documentation.
II. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
" Competitive Analysis
1. Research and identify the company's top competitors
2. Identify competitors' roadmaps and strategic plans
3. Define feature/function comparison of competitors products versus firm's products
4. Define firm's product weaknesses against competitors and counteractions
" Industry Analysis
1. Research the market/industry to identify trends and problems, and define possible solutions for common industry problems in the form of Business, Product, and Project plans.
2. Define common pain points with customers and prospects, and define how technology/software may be utilized to create solutions
3. Identify product enhancements that can make our customers more efficient
4. Understand the market, emerging trends, and new developments with which our products may need to comply
5. Develop and maintain relationships with firm's partners and service providers
" Product Roadmap Definition
1. Review incoming customer requires on a periodic basis
2. Standardize request titles and descriptions, eliminate duplicity
3. Manage a centralized suggestion database for monthly review by the Product Management team
4. Create and maintain a product roadmap for each of the assigned connectors and solutions
5. Manage customer expectations and requests through direct customer communication
" Sales/Marketing Support
1. Maintain product specific content in the company's internet and intranet site
2. Support the sales organization by developing presentations and demonstrations, provide content in regards to product functionality and product direction.
3. Provide content for marketing material and sales data sheets
4. Maintain demo environment with each product release to ensure that new features/enhancements are fully utilized.
" Product Definition
1. Formalize product concepts into specification documentation, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
2. Perform detailed product analysis and write functional design specifications.
3. Maintain and update product documentation with each release.
" Track revenue, costs, and P&L for product lines.
" Other duties may be assigned.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervisory responsibilities will include:
" Management of Product Analyst resources
" Annual and periodic reviews
" Provide feedback and guidance for Product Analyst tasks

V. Qualifications
Education
" Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent experience is required.
Experience
" 5+ years experience in a similar position is required.
" Experience in the lending industry is required.
" Banking and credit union experience is preferred.
